ang galing galing naman kabayan, all good news received in one day... party party!!!  Friends,
God is so amazing! Got my passport with the shiny maple leaf just a while ago. Received it on the same day my ECAS status changed to DM. The visa was stamped on May 9, 2011. Actually there was no delay in the stamping of the visa. The delay was the updating of the ECAS which happened only today! People who got DM today, your passports are on its way!!!
And for people who have sent their passports for visa stamping, cheer up my friend as CHC does not want to hold your passort for long. They are true to their word that they will return your passport in 4-6 weeks time.

Dear Friends
After gettting married, i have sent all supporting documents.draft/application to Visa Office London. I have sent case specific enquiry to know if they have recieved and if they have updated but no response from visa office, as usual. It is worriesome as how could i know whether my file has been updated or not. Reminding you, my ecase shows INPROCESS since 29th March 2011. Any suggestions ? Shall i again apply for CAIPS? Previous CAIPS revelaed nothing more than none.
Earlier i had applied thru consultant as a primary applicant but this time as per sincere advise from few friends of this forum, i sent my wife's documents without knowing my consultant. I am having wonderful form which helps more than one payed cosultant could do.
I just want to share my gratitude and special thanks to Bestpal, Qorax Captain and Biju for their help, support and sincere advise. May Allah Bless You All ...!

Hi Aspire! Mabrook! Just want to ask you regarding your stuff here in Dubai. Are you planning to bring some of your stuff from here in Dubai to Canada? If so, how? Air cargo? Sea Cargo? I myself have my passport stamped with my visa already and is planning to do my landing on Aug 2011. But i'm still contemplating whether to bring in some of our things. I called up DHL yesterday and they told me that Dubai won't allow exporting electronic appliances anymore to Canada. I don't know if there is any truth behind this but that's what they told me. Initially, I was planning to bring with me my TV, playtstation and sound system. But if what the lady from DHL told me is true then i won't be able to. So if there's anyone also here that has some knowledge regarding this matter, i would appreciate your inputs on this please. |
