Captain, Biju Good Day I would like to travel to US for 15 days after completing the landing process in canada and then return back to canada for collecting the PR Card. Do i need to travel back from US on my own rented car or my relative's car will do.Do i need to drive the car.Is it advisable to travel before collecting PR card.Secondly can you pls. advise on a good travel insurance from UAE for canada US rgds Shanks

1. If u already have the US I-94 - u can enter the US imdtly after 'landing' in Canada.
2. For reEntering Canada, by road, in a pvt vehicle u don't require the PR cards.
3. If u have the US or Canadian D/License or IDP - u can drive. Else, NO.
4. Any car - self's/relatives/rented would do.
5. Who drives isn't important.
6. I took mine from AXA Insurance... have written it's details in the "Temp. Travel Insurance" thread.

Good Luck !

Hi buddy

As on now the guys who got the 2nd AOR till march 2010 got their meds.  rest all are waiting. Hope CHC will start issuing Meds soon to all pending. now we can see a small pause from CHC in issuing Meds and PPRs.

no worries things will be in track soon

Hi there,

Can somebody please help me with the below questions?

1) If I submit copies of saving bonds or statements of account, do I need to certify them by Notary Public?
2) The Notary Public in my home country will stamp in Arabic, does this mean I have to translate the stamp into English by a translator even on documents written in English?

Thanks in advance!

Thank you so much, Qorax!

How about point 2?? I'm thinking if the Notary Public stamps his verification in Arabic then the CIO / VO will not be able to read it because it's in English and hence would think I didn't notarize them!

Therefore, you think I should do point 2?

hi buddy

if u apply for CAIPS notes , i think u wont be getting the info which ur looking at - coz its always better to apply if ur file for long time no movement after showing IN PROCESS

u have to apply for CAIPS notes through online and send thm the original forms by post. there are many providers one among thm is

http://www.caips.ca/

How long it takes to get the status to IN PROCESS after 2nd AOR and then to Medicals.

I got my 2nd AOR in September 2010, and i completed 8 months now, still the status is RBVO.

Anybody got the medical request after 8 months and status is RBVO?
