Dear Qorax,

I sent our passports to CHC london for visa stamping via fedex here in UAE. I forgot to put my mobile number in the self-adressed envelope, but of course I put my contact number in the Updated Information Sheet that was sent to me, is that ok?

Do CHC london is gonna use Fedex also in sending our passports back? Hope to hear from you, Im just being worried I don't to lose our passports hehe!

The pps come via internal courier of CHC-London/Abu Dhabi. Then it's h/over to Aramex (CHC-Adh has a contract with them). Aramex will call u to ensure u r available @ the address noted on your envelope. As per your confirmation, Aramex will bring your package to u. U'll have to pay the Aramex Deliveryman @ your doorstep.

-Last time the charges were Dhs.80.
-Internal courier comes every alternate week.
-Usually on Mondays/Tuesdays. Same day Aramex gets involved.

Generally transfer of files from a VO to another is not conceded by CIC, unless it's due to system integrety. Nonetheless, there's no harm in trying - if u no longer reside in the vicinity of your current VO.

However, each transfer causes a delay - as such cases have a separate queue in each VO... & often the file goes into a wait-list... the length of which could be anything - depending upon the queue.

Hi Qorax,

First of all many congratulations on the 'living' thread...close to 80K hits ...so many souls like me, getting hopes and responses. Great job!

My Q - Are you maintaining info on any spreadsheet like few others? If yes -

Name- hinavin, NOC-0111,  CIO N/S, date AOR  June 24 2009, VO- London, location Dubai (Bur Dubai), file trnsfr to London, July 24 2009, Meds rqstd Sept 2010, sent Oct 21 2010.

Also is there is spreadsheet link for both 0111 and 0122 OR alternatively for London VO? What is the avg wait time before PPR and any possibility of an interview call now - post meds.

Do hope your Canadian life brings fruits of all the hard work!

Many thanks and warm regards

I think you are waiting for the IN PROCESS thing before the MR, it is also my case, 2nd AOR July 2010 and wait for 8 mos but according to my consultant, they will try to inquire on the sixth mos for the status. As I browse some other thread, others have their MR on the seventh month. Good luck to us and keep on praying...
