1. The eCas address doesn't change for everyone. 2. A 'DM' within one day of receiving pp package is 'awesome' -- never heard before. 3. Usually in 4-6 weeks ur pps should come back, in Bahrain. At max 2-months. 4. U should only write to them 'after' 2-months.

Dear Sir Qorax, We sent our passports from the UAE on July 22 and they reached there on July 23. Could you guess how much time it takes to get the passports back? (Actually, I was planning a holiday, thus the question) Thanks and Regards, ammaartahir

Around 3-weeks, usually.Comes back thru diplomatic mailbag of CHC-Adh, which ply every alternate week, generally on a Tuesday at Adh. Whereinafter they contact Aramex to pick-it-up & deliver, FOD, to the addressee. Qorax

Dear Qorax and Seniors,
I have a bit of a dilemma here, I would appreciate your inputs please.
We are now on the 4th month waiting for our PPR. now, a very promising development came - My current employer has a branch in canada, they have a vacancy which perfectly suits my current position. Talked to them and they are willing to absorb me, but I should have the visa in order for it to happen only. They are willing to help in any way they could (not on the visa application). Now this will clearly fall as an AEO. (is it?)
here are my questions:
Shall I ask them to prepare the AEO paperworks? Will it make any difference for the PPR to be expedited? Will it give me more peace of mind that my application will be approved/done? Or should I just wait for the PPR and the rest of the process to commence, but for sure the position will be filled.
Awaiting for your inputs guys.
Many thanks

Dear all
I have been a regular reader of your post & I really appreciate your efforts & concerns for foreign immigrants like us. Sir I have applied for my immigration FSW to Sydney Nova Scotia from oman in june 2011 with my family, I received a letter saying they received my app in sep 2011 & later stating that they started processing my application in june 2012, & my application status says IN PROCESS when I check it online. My query is how long will it take more? I am worried when I read your posts from people who have applied in 2007 & cleared medicals n still waiting, is this the usual time of wait ? or do they abide by any processing time lines ? when could I possibly expect to be through ? Please reply I am worried
Hi Sam, Don't you worry friend..things will soon fall into places.. be patient and always have faith..

Dear All,
Please respond to my query below, will appreciate your guidance. Regards,
@ mariyasubtain, U can have a Draft made from Mashreqbank. But their Dd making charges would be higher and exchange rate for AED>CAD$ will be costlier than the only Exchange house which issues CAD$ Bank Drafts i.e. AL FARDAN EXCHANGE which has many branches all over in UAE. Most of us got our RPRF N landing drafts made there. Go ahead, compare cost at Mashreq Bank n Al Fardan n choose ur options. Then post ur feedback. Best Wishes! Bestpal
