Dear Qorax n other members
I just sent my medicals to London a week back. Just wanted to know that after doing the medicals do they usually ask proof of funds again?
I am concerned because I have not maintained the required funds in my bank account but have more than the required amount in other saving schemes like national bonds and so on.
What should I do withdraw my money from bonds n maintain in my account??
Kindly advise

Dear friends, I have completed my landing in Vancouver last week, over all experience was good, no hastle, I was not asked about the cash or any thing, I was carrying 22k use and 45 k cad with me which I had declared to customs,before I met the immigration officer, all the forms are filled by officers , although I had prepared the forms myself, my goods accompanied and gods to follow list was stamped by the officer, overall it was smothwas out of airport in 1.5 hrs, there were poRterS but were very expensive 19 cad for 3 bags, I just used trolleys which were readily available, next day went and got the sin number, you can go to any service canada centre, it takes 30 mins. Today is Canada day and good time to be here,

my brother applied in october 2006 in simplified application program, till now there is no request for full docs, the ecase is showing inprcess , inside we received your application on -------
my question is, his application will be returned or not according to decision of 27 feb applications.?

Looking out for some help regarding my application status!
My husband and I started the application process while in India with CHC New Delhi, but we had to shift to UAE in between(february 2012) as my husband got a job offer here!And by the time, we updated them on the change of address,we received our medicals request along with passport submission by 23 March 2012.So, our representative mentioned that they had forwarded the request to the concerned CHC authorities and to wait for a response from their end
.Then we received the medical forms in our UAE address on 06 May 2012 with no deadline for submission.We send the medicals within 2 weeks and will be sending the Indian PCC as well as UAE PCC by next week to CHC.However , will the CHC request us for the passport now or should we just simply submit it at the earliest date. We are in a fix because we are not in a position to stay away from work for more than a month.So we just want to make sure that , we would not have to wait for more than a month for the stamping as rules in UAE are really stringent and cannot afford an endless waiting time for the stamping..
So kindly advise if we should wait for the passport request or just hand over the passport at an earlier date to CHC ND!
kindly help.

Not sure what PCC is. As I said I am new to the forum. But I applied through FSW pre-june 2010 rule (fast-Track). I hope this answers your question. My main concern is whether leaving UAE for another country will affect my application in any way ?! apply to CID....mean applied for PCC....?
You got wait letter then how you are applying for PCC earlier...?

Your Visa office will not be changed. It will not affect your application. Not sure what PCC is. As I said I am new to the forum. But I applied through FSW pre-june 2010 rule (fast-Track).

Dear All – especially those who have landed already in MONTREAL -,
I need your help, the time of landing is approaching (26-Aug-2012), We have been looking online for Studio or Apartment since almost 2 weeks, all are expensive, they are asking for minimum of CAD 2000 / Month.
Please send me some links or contacts if you know any downtown decent independent places where we can live until we settle!
