Thanx Qorax !!!

Sounds relieving to know that there is no need to wait for another form after "the long wait"!!!!  Cheesy

Also they returned my draft of 550 dollars that I sent to Canada in the name of receiver general for Canada initially when i made my application so just to confirm , I make a new draft in the same name and send it to my visa office in London right?

Why did they return that?

They haven't mentioned a reason , but I m guessing that the validity must have expired before they could encash it , although they have so many stamps on that draft and it's written manually in blue ink "account closed" as well ?

What do u think it Is?

They just asked me to send processing fee of 550 dollars again.

IS THIS A GENERIC REPLY? HOW LONG DOES AN IMMIGRATION REVIEW A CASE?

Hello people from Dubai. I have a question regarding translating docs from Arabic to English.
What is the steps and procedure?

For example, copy of ID and residency, what I do is:
1. Translate from "certified translator"?
2. Notarize translation from Ministry of Justice?
3. Notarize from Ministry of Foreign Affairs?
4. Notarize from Canadian Embassy?

Are these the steps? I really don't know exactly, hope someone can shed some light..

What about other docs that aren't in English, what did you do with it?

Dear Qorax and friends,

I will be visiting an office at 195 THE WEST MALL in Toronto and plan to move there. Im from Ottawa and I am not familiar with the place. Can you please advise where is the best place to stay (Missisauga, Etobicoke, Oakville???), I am planning to rent a small apartment or even sharing. I am a filipino I appreciate if someone can recomment a good accomodation or apartment near that area where it is accessible by bus as I dont have a car yet?

Thank you very much!

Anything that isn't in English or French, and u want to submit it, u should have it 'legally' translated. Just that... no other stamping [from any other agency] is required.

If u've a car then any place is OK [Oakville being the farthest]. If u don't, or u don't desire the morning rush hiccups, then stay in Etobicoke, or along the TTC line.
