Hi All,

I have a question and I hope that someone out there would be able to provide an answer.

I am expecting to receive the passports request soon, and I am currently residing in Dubai. My question is; is it okay to send the passports via DHL to the visa office in Cairo, Egypt ? are there any legal restrictions on that matter? Should I take any particular precautions?

I would really appreciate an answer from anyone had gone through the same experience

Thanks and have a wonderful one  Smiley
Send it via DHL, Fedex , Aramex as these are more reliable than others, and make sure that you declare to courier company that you are sending passport for visa issuance purpose, that is it, best of luck

I would suggest to use priority services of courier company by declaring the passport shipment, as suggested by abhihappy.

Thanks

Hi Qorax,
I really appreciate the way you answer queries of different applicants and always follow your post.
For the case under discussion I believe the residence inside Canada is not important since the main applicant is a Canadian Citizen and not a permanent resident. “Individuals born outside of Canada can now become Canadian citizens by descent if one of their parents is a citizen of Canada”. Even more his wife need not to spend the required time in Canada to fulfill the residency requirement if the wife is a permanent resident and is accompanying a Canadian citizen abroad.
This is just my personal understanding from whatever little I know about Canadian immigration system.

For sponsorship apps reg. family members it's a requirement that the sponsor (any one of the parents) resides in Canada while applying AND continue to reside here from applying to it's completion. Else, the apps might be rejected.

Hi,

U r right, it doesn't apply to citizens. I must've overlooked that he's a citizen already in my first read... thanks for pointing that out. I'd now go back & amend that reply.

yogaad,

Do you know if your intended NOC will make it to the 'to be announced list' in July 2012?
Coz I have been hearing that they will take more skilled persons in Welding, Crane Operator, doctors and in such categories.

Dear Qorax/Seniors,

I had interview today and they asked me if I can obtain an enhanced security clearance. My question is, how long or how to process the said clearance? Is there any problem getting the clearance if I worked and stayed in Abu Dhabi for 7 years.

Thank you!

my work experience is in English........my question is can a legal translator make a true copy for my english written work experience certificate, provided that this legal translator is duly licensed and sworn by the ministry of justice......to make such true copies.......or only i have to go to dubai courts or abu dhabi courts for the notary public.....plz be acurate.....becuz i have to take 2 hour leave from work to do this.....if legal translator then i think its easy....for me as they r avaliable

hi

Yes,  a legal translator can attest as True Copy. ur old experiance certificates can be attested like this and sent. but the letter from the present company , always better to send the Original.

Dear Captain, Mr. Biju and all other forum members!

I want to file an official complaint about the fraudulent conduct of my consultant. I want to do it because I do not want any more people to be cheated by them.

I would appreciate if anyone could lead me to the respective authorities in Canada (email address or website, etc.), so I can fulfill my purpose.

Prompt reply and contribution from everyone would be highly appreciated.

Best regards to everyone around!

Cheers Smiley

buddy
