I lked the name and your sence of humour  ... hsould have added a 'Singh' at the end ... Hi Regis, Thanks for appreciating my sense of humour (a trait that is fast dwindling this side of the globe).    Actually, back in the 70s, I had a very queer teacher during my sixth/seventh grade in school, who, if asked for his name would snap back with this answer (NARAYAN ABDUL D'SOUZA). He thought 'NAMES' are the cause of religious disharmony and hence believed in Names that are devoid of surnames! I believe he was partly right (Partly becoz, I believe there should be no names at all, let all of us be tagged with a bar-code/micro chipped with an unique 3 digit (alphanumeric) code for addressing purpose! so that we smoothly slide into the Robot era! Yes scanned copy of passport, emirates id and other required docs need to upload along with the online application request. I believe there will be no as such issues if your visa is from Ajman or any other emirates. As the application is processed by the CID department, which is interconnected with all emirates.
Also, if you are submitting your application with emirates id through online, you don't have to undergo the finger print scanning, as they already have all your information.
Hope the above information will be sufficient for you.
Hi mappleleaf, I applied for PCC online on 21 June and a ref number was sent to me via text. Then on 23 June (Thursday) I received an SMS saying to go to certificate section CID office to complete the payment process. I dont understand this coz I have already paid the certificate fees online via credit card. What should I do? Pls advise. Thanks |
