Nowadays, Medical requests are comming for people getting their 2nd AOR in April/May 2010. For the applicants of June to Sept 2010, status have turned to IN PROCESS with some having the timeline other same details of RBVO.

I got my 2nd AOR in Sept 2010. My case is IN PROCESS with RBVO?

Anybody from July/August 2010, got MR recently???

Hi Canadaday,

Would you like to reveal why did it take so long for you after meds?

Moreover if possible plz share in and which countries did you live after age of 18,as in most of the cases ,more numbers of countries visited delays the case.

Thanks

newcomer,
you are right, i think completing bckground checks was the issue as i've lived/worked/was educated in several different countries since the age of 18 and that is why it took so long.

Hello

Am in Dubai and we applied for the Canadian Immigration in Nov 2010. We didn't get any response till May 2011. In May, we got a mail saying a letter from CIC was undelivered and returned to them. Upon following up by email, they sent us an email saying our application will be forwarded to London Visa Office ad they gave us 3 things:

a. UIC
b. Application Number
c. Receipt number for 1100 Canadian dollars.

I'm not able to track the status of our application using any of these numbers, for some strange reason.

Now, where do you think I stand?

Am pretty new to this and any info/help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Seniors,
My visa office is London. Medical done early Sept2010, which is going to expire in exact 2.5 months from now. During Feb2011 they asked for passport copy and background declaration forms to fill again, during May2011 they asked for updated police certificates, which were sent on 23May.
Is it likely that they ask for passport (visa purpose) before medical expiry. Do they watch medical expiry or its a norm that Medical expires without notice?  Sad
Regards,
toCA

Hi, yes they do keep a watch on MEDICAL EXPIRY. And i am pretty sure that you will receive PPR before the expiry of your medicals.

Cheers..

Hi Honeyflower,

While logging, Choose any of the field from the drag option e.g. Immigration file # and then fill in with the UIC i.e. Bxxxxxxxxx (or Receipt # with the respective #) and in the 'Surname/Family' name field, input your (Primary Applicant's) FULL NAME including the first, middle & the surname/family name (e.g. NARAYAN ABDUL D'SOUZA) Cheesy as you gave in your initial application. Then the Date & country of Birth fields should be filled with the P.A.'s details.

I am sure that this will work. Try this and then give your feedback.

Best Wishes,

Bestpal

Hi ToCa,

As you have already requested an updated PCC so it means that your all other BG checks are finished and CIC just want to  reconfirm your security clearance from your current country of residence.Expect your PPR from 15 days onwards after the deadline date of your PCC submission.Your file must be only waiting for BFD date so tht a visa could be issued.

Well, I submitted my updated PCC on 10 May. After that I received my CAIPs notes where the BF'D date is 17 June. Untill now I have not heard anything from them.
