Great advice Deeaar.
Shatoor do get the letter. I went with it and was able to get the G licence directly without any problems. My advice is to hire an instructor. It will cost you a bit (I paid $250), but the instructors know the tricks and the tips they will give you will really help. You will get the one chance at the "G" licence so better make it a good one. I got mine in Gulph, ON about 100 km out of Toronto. The effort was worth it because the highway there is only 70km/h one and its easy easy to pass there (according to my instructor).
Good luck
Hi Siawo
i got the letter in arabic and got legal translation done for it,can you provide email adres or contact details for this driving instructor,so that i can tie up with him for giving the G license test, you can email or send me PM.

HI SATDXB,
What happened to your PP, why it took that long for you to wait for it? Im kinda worried... my company is now asking for my PP..
According to CHC, some background checks were still pending. So they took time in clearing those. Cheers..

Hello everybody! I have gathered all the required documents and have few questions on how to proceed.
1) Where in Dubai or Sharjah I can certify the copies from a Notary Public? 2) Seems like I first need to certify the copies then translate them? or the other way around? 3) The application guide says translations must be accompanied by Affidavit. How can I do this? 4) The application guide also says we have to submit copies of identity cards. I have the UAE National ID, shall I submit copy of it? 5) My transcripts are in Arabic so I had to open the university envelope to translate them. Will the VO accept the transcripts without a sealed university envelope?
Thanks a lot for your valuable help!

Dear Friends,
I want to ask your opinions about this. I have a consultant who is based in Sharjah UAE. And just few minutes ago I called them and asked them about how CHC London will send back to them my passport after the visa stamping. They told me that CHC London will send my passport directly to their office through FEDEX and will not pass through the Canadian Embassy in Abu Dabhi as they have sent a prepaid return FEDEX airwaybill during the time they sent my passport to CHC London. Furhter they told me that they have been doing this procedure eversince they started their operation and to all their clients and did not encounter any problems. Is this possilbe? To my knowledge got from this forum, is that CHC London will send it to Abu Dabhi Embassy and Abu Dabhi Embassy will send to us through ARAMEX. Kindly make your comments on this. Thank you very much.

Hello everybody! I have gathered all the required documents and have few questions on how to proceed. 1) Where in Dubai or Sharjah I can certify the copies from a Notary Public? notarisation can be done in Dubai justice in qusais(Dubai) back of al towar mall.Dhs100 per page. OR u can do from ur embassy/Consulate. My advice is to send to ur country and do all notorising so it works out v cheap. 2) Seems like I first need to certify the copies then translate them? or the other way around? translation can be done in Al yasmi bldg near galadari signal-Dubai. Translated copy need not be notorised since its already sealed and signed3) The application guide says translations must be accompanied by Affidavit. How can I do this? Translation done by a legal translator need not have an Affidavit4) The application guide also says we have to submit copies of identity cards. I have the UAE National ID, shall I submit copy of it? yes u can 5) My transcripts are in Arabic so I had to open the university envelope to translate them. Will the VO accept the transcripts without a sealed university envelope? If its in only Arabic u need to take to this legal translator guy and get it done to English and attach with tht ALL THE BEST Thanks a lot for your valuable help!

Hi buddy as far as we know all the PP are send by Diplomatic courier from CHc london to CHc AUH. this return courier system is there for guys who live in UK through Royal Mail. other than that if such a system is there for Gulf applicants we need to see tht and inform others which will be a great help for new guys. if u dont mind can u tell us which is ur consultant? OR send PM. so we can figure out how much truth is tht BijuDear Friends, I want to ask your opinions about this. I have a consultant who is based in Sharjah UAE. Hi buddy if u have the file number i am sure u can access the Ecase status. If ur consultant closed down. send an email to CHC saying the termination of consultant plus this info. u can send email but u need to send the original signed forms by courier. together with this update ur address and email id. so u will receive any requirement letter or PPR by email. further to this u can send the case enquiry through ecase status to know where u stand good luck buddy BijuHi, I did my med in October and still i Havent recieved any further notication.
