Some good news.... After a loooooong wait, we have today got a letter from the High Commission of Canada (mailed from Ottawa office, though letter has London address) asking for the RPRF and original passports for stamping. We will be couriering the same tomorrow to London.
So here's hoping......

Please go through the publication link below, each time you bring in stuff you need the "Goods to follow list" and a CBSA officer will mark the items you have brought in until the list if exhausted, the document doesnt specify the time limit, the only thing you need to make sure of the following
"To import goods duty- and tax-free, Settlers must have owned, possessed and used the goods prior to their arrival in Canada and Former Residents must have owned, possessed and used the goods for at least six months before returning to resume residence."
Secondly,
"If you import goods duty- and tax-free into Canada and if you sell or give the goods away within the first year of importing them into Canada, you will have to pay any applicable duty and taxes immediately. If you divert the goods for commercial use, the same rule applies."

After completing 3 years in Canada does the Permanent Resident need to submit Police Clearance Certificate from all countries where he satyed for more than 6 months???

I checked my Ecas today and it says "Decision Made" and when i click on it this is what it says "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."
Could anyone tell me what does this mean? We are still awaiting for our PP's to come back to us from London CHC............i'm waiting breathlessly.
