Dear Qorax,
I landed in Canada and returned back to Dubai after staying for 2 months. what taxes should I claim? and how to claim it from outside of Canada? Thanks.

If u don't pay any taxes, by not residing in Canada, How can u claim any?
Anything & everything on your tax front will only commence when u make your residence here.

Dear Qorax Sir, Biju Sir and seniors, I need clarification in respect of Application Forms, I hope seniors will enlighten me with their views / suggestion

- Is it Okay if we can Partly Fill the Form on Computer and Partly By Hand using a Black Pen, because some of the fields are not large enough to write the Complete details, Moreover the Font Size is also not equal for all the fields (Questions), for some it is very small and for other it is large.

- Does Filling by Hand with a Black Pen creates any negative impact because in the light of above mentioned, we may have to squeeze the handwriting to fill in some details in reply of some questions

- Can we use the initial / Acronym like, HSC (for Higher Secondary School), B.Com (for Bachelor of Commerce) MPA (for Master in Public Administration) because again the fields in respect of these questions are not large enough to write the full descriptions

- Though CIC has asked to sign only two forms i.e. IM0009 1e (Background Declaration) and IMM5046E (Additional Family Information) or is it Okay, if I sing and date on other forms as well, may be at left or right bottom.

- Is it enough to write N/A only in the reply of Main question in respect of question which has various fields / sub questions or do we have to write N/A in each and every field.

- If the children are infant i.e. around 1 year of age, then what should a person write in the question relating to their education, language and height (as they will grow quickly)

I have one more question,  just want your enlightenment.

Actually I have done B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) which is a two years degree program,  but i completed in three years,  two years regular classes (and third year no classes no college but only appeared in the final exams), and then I could not appear in two exams in my second year due to some reasons, therefore i appeared in next year annual exams for these remaining two subjects, so please advise me that in Back ground declaration form shall I write three years i.e from 1994 to  1997 or two year 1994 to 1996 (which actually is the degree program period)

I I write three years here that what should I write in total years of education 16 or 17, because officily a Master Degree is considered as 16 year education here in Pak.

An urgent reply will be much appreciated as I want to send my application max by 1st Jan. because already a lot of time has been wasted in gathering docs and my PCC is also almost 1 months old now.

I hope these are the questions which might be circling around in many minds, hence your answers will benefit a lot many people, who are in process of or planning to apply soon

@ humsafar

1. Yes, it's Ok to fill some columns/fields by hand.
2. Std abbreviations only (HSc, BA, MBA etc.), but not unusual ones (eg. PGDPMIR).
3. U can always use a separate sheet to respond to larger answer lines.
4. Sign only in the space/s provided.
5. Yes, "N/A" only in the main ques. The sub-fields could be left "Xed".
6. Write "Infant - at Home".

Dear Qorax and Seniors!!!

In my CAIPS Notes I have following Note:-

" INTENDS TO PROCEED WITHIN MED VALIDITY? Y/N:  N  "

Above mentioned note is written in my spouse and children personal information, our medical is valid till 02-08-2011.

I would appreciate if somebody can interpret that note.
