Mr. Biju and Mr. Suresh, waiting for your take on the aforementioned Hi, Google phone voices getting disturbed nowadays and u need to have a US/canada a/c for the call feature and payment so the best way now is, use any VOIP software like XtraVOIP, mobileplus, mobile dialer etc to call , it works out cheap. Hello Friends, I have send the PPS from Dubai, U.A.E After 70 days of sending PPS to CHC London still waiting for the PR Sticker & PPs return. The reason for delay is the chnage of my wife father name to my Sur name, which was informed earlier to chc London many time but now they are saying Visa Issuance Department has send my wife PP for additional security check/ Can any1 tell me how much time it will take for such case as our Medicals will expire in November? Please help? i AM TOO TOO TOO worried.... Regards
No cause for worries buddy , one of our dubai group friend SATDXB had the same issue,( not coz of name change), coz CHC send the file for addt security check after sending the PP for visa stamp. so the PP came back after 120 days with visa stamp. Biju

It's good to go where ur friends r --- obviously that's a problem again with u -- thus look at it this way: Toronto = Dubai, UAE Calgary = Doha, Qatar
Yet a problem? -- Then think with ur heart.
Qorax
Thanks Qorax, you have really enlightened me... I think we will settle in Calgary...thanks again for helping a lot of people in this forum...God bless you more Regards, Charm

Well its a good comparison for anyone who has gone to Doha. I have never been there, so really cant tell much. But does it mean there are more opportunities in Doha, Qatar since it is going to be a boom town. It's good to go where ur friends r --- obviously that's a problem again with u -- thus look at it this way: Toronto = Dubai, UAE Calgary = Doha, Qatar
Yet a problem? -- Then think with ur heart.

Dear Seniors, I have read this query long time ago in this forum but I would just like to confirm again...regarding landing funds, if we are going to carry for example 14k CAD,
1) my husband and i will land together, do we still need to fill up that form for those who are carry 10k and above or no as we are two and it will be below 10k if divided into two? 2) Is 10K form declaration mandatory per family or per individiual?
..thanks a lot for guiding us
Regards, Charm

Hi Charm Between the 2 of you 14k is fine Its 10k per person But if you want to carry more than 20k i.e. more than 10k per head its fine as well. All you have to do is declare it during landing and then when you go to get your GTF list stamped the officer there will assist in filling the form for currency also if its in cash they will want to count it We just got back and went through a similar process when we landed at Toronto Pearson Hope that helps er2d2g
