Can anyone suggest me any good place in DUBAI? & how long will it take?

Only British Council bro. There is one office near Sharjah Immigration and anotehr i think in UOQ in knowledge. Pls. search for british council and you should get it

British Council in Dubai is near Maktoum Bridge.

British Council in Sharjah is near Mashriq Bank on Immigration Road where there is Dubai Islamic Bank bldg.

Hi,

1. U file tax returns every yr. for the previous yr. [filed between Jan-Mar],
2. U state all ur incomes in that, including overseas ones [if any],
3. U pay taxes on the total income [Canadian+Overseas], alongwith that tax return,
4. After a while [usually 3-4 weeks] u receive the CRA tax assessment report, which is based on ur tax filing,
5. Here CRA specifies ur refunds [if any] & tax amounts further due [if any], or whether ur filing was correct & successful.

Note:
a. We r talking about declaring ur 'incomes' here in ur annual tax returns,
b. Not what u bring-in while landing or later [whenever] -- those r settlement funds & non-taxable,
c. 'Income' here means 'earnings' which u state 'only' during ur annual tax filing,
d. Thus, if u don't state ur "overseas incomes" it cannot be taxed [though it's illegal to do so],
e. B'coz in Canada u r liable for paying tax on ur 'total' global income, not just on ur Canadian income.

I have received my pps with the maple leaf last week and am planning to travel in January '13.

As per your comment above, I understand that my Income from Dubai will be taxed.
Do you think it is better for me to land in Alberta, with a flat tax rate of 10 % instead of any other cities.

Kindly confirm if there is a way of of tax evasion in my case.

My guess is that your Medicals shd be coming any day.

Yes, you can change your address online. (But that is only half the battle). Need to submit forms (soft and hard both) for every member above 18 for cancelling representation (your brainless CONSultant) -Check cic web site for latest forms and fill it, scan and email it. But ensure you also send the original (signed copies) by Regd mail or courier. Can take 2-3 weeks to effect the change, after the delivery.

                           I have been troubling you whenever had to get some valuable informations/suggestions.
I am a Dubai applicant, my wife doing residency in MH Islamabad Pakistan. We both done our medicals there on 29th Dec 2011 and results were recieved on 7th Jan. 2012 by CHC London. Now exactly five months  passed and no PPR has been received till to-date. My consultantans " premiers" just telling me that it may come any time but can not suggest exact date. My passions are wearing out, pl advise me what shall I do?....simply wait OR else.

Ur place of landing & settling should never be based on that.
It should be based on the availability of ur acquaintances/friends/relatives in that location. They'd be of immense help in ur initial settlement process.
