Hi all from Dubai,

It's high time that we start our 'own thread', like others are doing here !!!

I request all to post your timlines here and get connected. Firstly, it will sail us thru on this long agonising waiting period. Secondly, thru networking we can help each other on info sharing and act as morale boosters. Thirdly, we'll expand our 'Friends-Circle', both here as well as post landing.

Quite a few of us, in Dubai, are already in touch with each other. Some are thru, some just applied, while some are waiting for our PPRs. Let's expand the network... what do you say buddies ?

just one point: My file was transferred from Damascus Visa Office to Warsaw VO on 01.Dec 2011. NOC: 4121

we received your application for permanent residence on May 12, 2009.
 
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on June 11, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
 
Your application and supporting documents were received by the Warsaw office. They are pending review.
 
We transferred your application to the Warsaw office on June 16, 2009. The Warsaw office may contact you.
 
We transferred your application to the Warsaw office on December 1, 2011. The Warsaw office may contact you.
 
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on December 15, 2011.

1. 2009 cases have a 3-yr's wait-queue... ur file must've come out of it in May-12.
2. Warsaw started ur b/ground checks in Dec-15, 2011.
3. U should be looking at ur meds [or an ADR] around Aug/Sep-12.

Dear Qorax Bhai,

I landed in 2010 and got the health card for me and my kids. My wife couldn't apply for OHIP at that time. Now we are moving there permenently and I learned from someone that she has to wait for 3 months before she can apply for OHIP as she was out of canada for more than 6 months.

Please respond if it is correct or any source to varify the info. Thanking you.

Please help me. Im in iran, Im iranian, I have lived in India before, I studied there. I need a police certificate and the embassy told me that india wont issue it. what do I do? will I get rejected if I cant provide it?

thanks a lot Biju Sir. I m hoping the same.
When i applied for PR in May 2010 i was in India and i gave my permanent address for any correspondence in Delhi (not my agent's). I m now thinking to chnage the address to my agent's because my cousin lives in my house and he is travel a lot. I used to think that if i will get any ADR from CIC i will be informed via email not post/ courier but someone told me CIC usually send such requests by post. Is it? Should i request my agent to forward request to CIC for change of address?
I moved back to Dubai in November 2011 and i also sent them the copy of the offer letter (issued in Oct. 2011) from the employer i am working from Nov 2011 till date. What else i should provide them? Should i send them any other documents or i should wait for their request?
Biju Sir what do you think how long it will take before i can hear from them?
I know i have asked lots of question:) so take your time.

CHC nowadays sends correspondence via email. but ND sends by post too. if u think that ur cousin wont be able to receive the posts, u can change it to ur agent's address.

whn u change a job(dubai) its better to send them the offer letter and visa copy(after stamping), as we wont be able to send a Job description letter from the present employer immdtly.

Received the passports with VISA and COPR yesterday morning... thanks to all....

Thanks indeed. whats ADR?
I know some people in the same boat and their initial application was 03 March 2009 and their files has started processing in 01 Dec 2011 in Warsaw but they received their MR just in mid of May. I have just 15 days delay in processing compared with them. how big is this 15 days difference in starting processing?
Is the type of NOC important as priority for processing or is that just based on the time of initial application?

Looking to have your advise again

if there is any change in ur POF (ie change of accounts) u can update the changes to CHC- there is no harm.
