Hope you guys r good.
Pls donot translate the same in English from UAE as it is not accepted in Canada.
I had to go thru the same process in Sharjah and still had to get the letter translated from a Legal Translator in Mississauga for my license.
So plssss dont waste ur money in UAE. When you go to apply for DL in Canada, they will give you some names of Legal Translators.

buddy, its not necessary tht VO will call for an interview (if u applied in FSW) it depends case to case. He/she might send u PPR after 90-120 days  Biju |

Thanx abhi,
I have seperate salary account and its separate than the other account (which has FD, saving account,etc).
I don't have any loans/ or EMI appearing in that account & it is clean account.
Since it will take further 6 to 12 months, I want to maximize the return and the funds are transferred in same account with FD.
So I hope this should work out.
No worries , u can update ur POF with ur FD certificate copies , (i did the same b4) biju |

i m retunig to this forum after a while. I ma so happy to see that u r still around and helping us out. I kind of lost of hope for getting the PR until today when i decided to view my application status on CIC website. I am excited to see what is written there. Dont know if i should be happy and to clarify it i honestly need your guidance here. Please see below what is mentioned under my application status:
"We received your application for permanent residence on May 12, 2010.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on September 28, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Your application and supporting documents were received by the New Delhi office. They are pending review.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on May 3, 2012. "
What do you think?

The letter is standard letter (like 2nd AOR format) which ask to wait for 6 to 12 months.

When i applied for PR in May 2010 i was in India and i gave my permanent address for any correspondence in Delhi (not my agent's). I m now thinking to chnage the address to my agent's because my cousin lives in my house and he is travel a lot. I used to think that if i will get any ADR from CIC i will be informed via email not post/ courier but someone told me CIC usually send such requests by post. Is it? Should i request my agent to forward request to CIC for change of address? I moved back to Dubai in November 2011 and i also sent them the copy of the offer letter (issued in Oct. 2011) from the employer i am working from Nov 2011 till date. What else i should provide them? Should i send them any other documents or i should wait for their request? Biju Sir what do you think how long it will take before i can hear from them? I know i have asked lots of question:) so take your time. Regards |
