Hello friends, I received my stamped passports back in 5 weeks. Thank you everyone for help and support!
I have couple of doubts here:
1- We are a family of 4 persons. In the COPR of my wife, and under "Dependant(s) information", it is written : Have you any depandants other than those who listed below? then my name is mentioned. Is that correct?
2-Under COR, Egypt was stated not UAE. Is there is any problem?
3-Mr qorax suggests the 20/80 role for carrying funds and I was about to purchase travel checks or bank drafts" I don't know which of them you recommend?" but I read on the documents they sent me the following:" ..current bank statment, updated bank book, securities or negotiable instruments in beare form, etc"
Since I'm going to make offshore landing, I find the idea of bank statment more convenient but I still need more assurance from you especially Captain as I know he is not much supporting bank statments. I would like to know if anyone used them successfully?
Thank you and good luck for everyone waiting for PPR

Congrats dude... Cheesy Cheesy Best of luck...

Hi ssinghdxb

I was a great session, They offer lots of advice on how to fit in our newly adopted country which we will call home in the near future. The session is divided into 2 parts
1. All day session divided into 3 parts
a. Background info on Canada. Understanding people, culture, provinces etc.
b. Basic skills for looking for a job, preparation for the process, language training etc.
c Interview process, workplace and job retention
2. Second session was a 2 hour one with my wife and me where we got a lot of online resource references

It was a great experience and I would recommend everyone who is planning to move permanently to attend the CIIP. Its funded by the government and the ACCC and they also have a link to lots of on ground partners who can assist you once you are in Canada.

2 things you should know before you attend the session is that they start by giving you the worst case scenario and help you build up to the point where you understand that 'too much is not enough' in terms of preparation before you make the final move and secondly they also give you an eye opener on why Canada is not just MTV ( Montreal,Toronto & Vancouver)

Hope this helps - they also have videos on the sessions and you can find some of them on the website I posted earlier

Thanks a ton er2d2g

It's mostly a fraud company, there r complaints galore on the net:

I'd avoid contacting them with a barge-pole...

C O N G R A T S buddy ,,,, very happy to hear this news   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
# Bank drafts are always good
# before one guy showed the latest bank statement as POF whn landed and thy accepted in POE Plus 2day one guy is flying with the same kind of POF ie fresh bank statement.  so i think it works.
biju
thank you Biju  Cheesy, You offered a lot of support and you showed a true kindness. Thank you  Cheesy
Also the instructor at CIIP session -who was working as an official responsible for reviewing the documents at airport- said that they allow bank statment. By the way, I encourage anyone who didn't attend those sessions yet to register and take the advantage of meeting those expert instructors who are able to supply you with a very condensed material in short time

Dear Seniors.. Kindly do let me know whether do I have an option to change my visa office. I mean,I am planning to shift my application from LVO to (New Delhi). Is it possible? LVO is veryslow in processing whereas NDVO already issued visa to applicants with similar timeline to mine. I am from Dubai, hence my VO is London. Please advise.

Hi All,

Finally i got the waiting letter (no other documents) dated 24/4/2012 received on 19th May 2012.

In document submission, I had not submitted original education certificates and other documents such as employment related, banks letters, were original.

Anyway I am not affected , if the documents are not returned as all were temporary documents for Immigration purpose.

In letter, they have clearly stated that please don't contact us atleast 12 months unless there are changes in your file such as employment change, etc.

Regards
