Thanks Soby,
Yes I have filled the application right. Is it possible that they might have overlooked this? Shall I wait for there letter before I action on this? Would UAE police give a police clearance if the person was in UAE for only 2 months and on visit visa? Please advice. Thanks a lot
Qorax, Biju, Soby and other seniors, I would really appreciate and would be very grateful for your advice.
I'll update shortly my timelines, Im just learning how to do about Smiley

Again thanks a lot,
Charm28
If he has stayed for just two months in UAE then PCC is not required
You can clarify the VO in case they ask

Hey guys out there,
I have just realised that acyually I have chosen to " live " in Ottawa. In fact, when applying, I didn't know where exactly I should stay. Is it possible that I change to Toronto? I have e-mailed my consultant to enquire whether it is possible to change my city of landing to Toronto, but he hasn't replied yet. I guess both cities are in the same province, so I think I do have the choice to land in both cities. Is that right? Please advise if I am right.
Thanx
Not required, FSW you can land anywhere in Canada except Quebec

Hi Soby,When is PCC really required? I'm confused, some fellows who are already in Canada are being asked to provide PCC from Dubai.

I'll be requesting PCC for myself in the next few days....Please give light on this issue. Thanks a lot!

Police Certificates and Clearances
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5612E.pdf

You are strongly encouraged to submit your police certificates with your application to the CIO. If you are unable to obtain all the necessary police certificates, you may still send your application to the CIO without them. However, please note that if your application is placed into processing you must be ready to submit them to the visa office when requested.

hi abuelyas first of all congratulation...i can give you some suggestions which may help you,all though u had been in touch with our senior qorex, whose every word is very precise.
1.drink alot water.
2 avoid coloured foods and drinks.
3.if you have ever kidney stones, drink barley water(non alcoholic) early in the mornig.
4.at the day of medical, before sample collection of urine atleast pass urine one time.
5.while collecting urine sample, dont collect first blow of urine, collect in the middle
you will see your urine colour will remain more transparent.
i hope you dont have any chronic disease otherwise you can tell about that and we will try to give you some proper guidelines about that.
about your daughhter, type 1 genetic diabetes is not leading her to medical failure.the only thing you will need is a report from a diabetese specialist which will show that her diabetes is controlled one, which can be obtained on request from any clinic.you have to attach the report with her medical tests.
  wish you all the best...
Perfect :)you know what you're talking about!

Yes, he does, indeed. You guys around, you seem to have acquired real and practical expertise in the field. I still have a lot to learn ahead.
By the way, I was wodering if you folks try to supply a thorough list of acronyms if possible. I have gone through one posted by mikeramma, however, I still come across many abbreviations I just can't figure out.

Thanks buddies
