Of course, your file is in the process otherwise they never asked you to provide the correct bank draft to include your child. Moreover, the number you got starting with 'E' is also reprents that your file is in the right track. What you can ask the VO about the 2nd AOR mentioning the entire fact with the new file number.
Hope this will address your concern.

Dear Qorax or other seniors,
Need your advise
We are pre-june applicant, with my spouse as primary applicant.
My passport has only 5 blank pages, with current trend where MR are being received, (in a positive anticipation) will it be a correct idea to go for renewal and send new passport details to VO? Would it delay the process? If we get MR letter before renewal with old passport number; do we need to request for fresh/new MR letter from VO? or can I wait for MR and go for renewal and update VO accordingly?
Awaiting your help (as always)
Thanks and regards
i suggest you to renew the passport after the Meds. If your 2nd AOR date is after sep 2010, then i feel you can renew and send the new passport copies for update. (Coz i did the same before- just b4 Meds sent the new PP copies) Biju

hi Are you going to land and back to Dubai or this is ur final move? Vancouver is a very nice place if you have relatives/ friends who really can help you. in my opinion its not a good place for New comers. cost of living is high in Vancouver and rents too. ( i have already visited Vancouver and Victoria in BC ) and this is wht i found u can check in this site for housing www.craigslist.com/Biju

Hi Qorax and other members,
Thank you very much for starting a thread like this in the first place. I am sure it has helped many and it streamlines things a lot better.
I need your help. I am a newbie and I am about to apply for immigration to canada. I havent got much information about the provincial aspects, ie some provinces, I hear are friendlier than the others. I also heard that rules have changed a bit after the last June. Now obviously a consultant would be in a better position to answer these questions, and then comes the questions, who then? Any suggestion? Are there any threads that would provide more info for a beginner like me on this site?
Thanks a lot.
Welcome to this thread buddy you can post wht all doubts you have in this thread and we are more than happy to assist you. Consultants only work as courier agents in canadian migration. Many in our forum after joining in this groups have done all paper works themselves and are successful too. All the rules and documents needed are mentioned very clearly in the website http://www.cic.gc.ca/. in this way you can save a lot $$ and later throw some cents to give a party for all of us Good luck and start your move now Biju

Thanks dear.. i second the advise of my best friend and senior member of the forum BIJU.
That's awesome SATDXB, I really appreciate your detailed analysis even it's taken from oder post but you bring it back to life to help all of us in this forum, Thanks alot. Regarding if am settling there or just landing. This time it will be a landing only for a month, then I will settle next year by August maximum... I wish to see you all soon guys on a gathering in Dubai... You deserve a treat from me at least, Mainly yourself, Mr Qorax and Biju.. You were always here for us and here is a +1 for three of you from me... I have some very close friends in Vancouver in fact, and that's what really encourages me to think settling there, they will be my references when looking for job, rent and other settling requirements... I speak French as well but I don't want to leave in QUEBEC.... What my friends told me that rent is the only expensive thing in Vancouver, other commodities are the cheapest in Canada if you go to the right places, of course there is always expensive places but you can find cheaper and up to your budget, and my friends are there for three years now, they know every inch of Vancouver.. I guess they can be good help for me when I settle there....

I had send my application to CIC through a Consultant on May 2010 (NOC 4131 VO London),had sent in the Full documents on Dec 2010 and had received the 2nd AOR on May 2011.But I still cant access ECAS with the File number on the 2nd AOR where as I can do the same with the File number in the 1st AOR ( ECAS Status- RBVO). With your vast knowledge and experience , I would request all of you to help clarify few queries mentioned below -: 1.The 5 month delay for the 2nd AOR...Is tht normal? 2.Is there any specific reason why Ecas still doesnt accept my 2nd File number? 3.Is there any information on 4131 currently put on the backtrack?(Read this info in some other forums) 4.Any Idea when I would/ever recieve MR. Thanking All of You in advance..... Best Regards Rlex
