Hope everyone's doing well. I was away for a few days as I had a surgery and now recuperating at home.
Quick recap: MR mail was lost by the consultant. I requested LVO by email to resend it. They obliged. I received the MR today by post.
The only issue now is in the MR, they have striked 90 days time limit and changed it to 60. The MR is dated 2nd feb, so 31 march is our deadline.
My h needs PCC from India and Dubai. I need from India, Dubai and UK.
Can someone help me how to start the UK PCC process?
Any suggestions are most welcome.
Hi Ma'am, 1. Dubai PCC: It's called the "Good Conduct Certificate" in Dubai. For obtaining which u have to visit the nearest Dubai Police Stn and apply for it. Previously they used to dole-it-out 'only' from the CID-DPGHQ office -- but nowadays it could be applied & received from ANY POLICE STN. There's a fee of AED110; and u receive it in [usually] 7-10 days. Here's the link for procedure [just ignore that DPGHQ thing there]: http://dubai.ae/en/Lists/HowToGuide/DispForm.aspx?ID=302. UK PCC: Can 'only' be applied thru APCO offices in London. It takes around 10-15 days to receive it. Here's the CIC guideline for it: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/europe/united-kingdom.asp3. Indian PCC: U can obtain it from CONGENDIA offices around the globe. U got to visit their nearest office @ the country of ur residence [in ur case Bur-Dubai]. Costs AED40, if ur pp is issued in Dubai - u get it in 2-4 days max, however if ur pp is an Indian city issued - it could take 4-6 weeks. U just need to take ur original pps, fill-up a form & pay the fees. Unfortunately their website is quite about the process [http://www.cgidubai.com/?p=39], however here's the CIC link to it: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/asia-pacific/india.aspHope that helped. Congratulations !
thanks to all of you Pa55ion,Sterilinjection,mmiq,Satdxb and the rest, it was so nice to have such a nice company during this journey.. Here is a brief story of my exciting journey: It started when I applied the first time on January 2010 then my application was rejected because I didn't fill up the forms properly, at that time we just had to fill up the forms and pay the fees and the rest of the documents will be requested in a later stage. I was so disappointed but never upset coz it's all my fault. I did fill up the forms properly and sent back my application for the second time on September 2010 but I was not aware at that time that I have to send the forms and all documents all together at the very first time,,,So disappointed again, I got my application rejected because of missing supporting documents, I almost started believing that Canada immigration is not meant for me and I started looking for alternatives and in between I asked google a question: how can I apply properly to Canada, and amidst many links that I got, guess what??? I discovered the link to this amazing forum and I started reading the posts, that's where a beam of hope showed up again, I rusted out and started gathering my documents, this time I took almost three months preparing my documents attentively with cover letters and detailed explanations for each inconvenient document. I then applied on March 2011 and the journey started with fees encashed, AOR on April, File transfer on May. MR,PCC and RPRF came on August, PR on January and finally Visa received on February 16, 2012. It was not possible without you guys, I wish I can meet you in person and thank you for the support
