Dubai - Al Fardan Exchange DD encashment

Dear Seniors,

I have applied for Canada Permanent Residence & my application has received by CIO on 4th May-10.

When i called them today, they need to know when my dd is encashed.

Could anyone please help how to find dd encashed drawn from Al Fardan Exchange. Can any Dubai guys has overcome this situation.

I need to know when the dd is encashed so that I can provide the details , if possible.


Seniors please advise.

Hi,

You need to contact Al Fardan Exchange they are the only people who can tell you exactly when it was encashed.

In Dubai, they are saying that its not possible to trace out whether it is encashed or not.

Hi,

They are not giving you the correct information, from where you got the draft they can only tell you, if they cant then there head office people can because they run reports mostly 1st day of the week which shows drafts are cashed or not.

I had send earlier DD thru Al Fardan and later thru HSBC bank. In both cases the exchange nor the bank could confirm whether its encashed.
Anyways since the process moved further I was sure they had got the DD .

send email to canadian high commission in dubai and tell them you have not received any response so far from cio. no need to call them

include your name,dob,address, email and date your application was received at cio.

you dont need to tell when dd was casehed.

Cool,

To get information on DD encashed, u need to call Abu Dhabi - Al fardan Exch.  I had taken DD from Dubai.  After six month i asked the same qtn. they gave me ADH no. and they gave the Date of encashed.  minimum 15-20 days from the date of receipt at CIO.

I went to Al Fardan Exchange and they told me that they can tell about the encashment on saturday or Sunday as they need to check with their back office.

Secodnly I had called CIO and told them that my dd is encashed on 6th August ( estimated date given by me, as they were not taking further details of mine). After that they asked my tracking number from DHL courier , my full name, surname, date of birth, email id. The Lady was quite professional and told me that I will get reply in 30 days , if not , please call again.

People who have applied after me in Dubai got the AOR.

Lets hope for the best.

Thats good, its good to hear that they can tell you about the encashment as i said they do run the reports weekly and are able to tell you the date, its just that they dont say this openely otherwise every second person will be coming back to them to know the date

Hey all Dubai applicants
I am new to this forum.I applied on 26th May 2010,under NOC 3111,CIO received it on 29th of May 2010.
I made a DD by NBD,few days back i asked the bank about honour of DD the area office mailed to central office and told me ,it was credited to Receiver General of Canada on August 25,2010.
So AlFardan and other people must provide you the encashment dates.This's our right to ask them about this kind of information.

Application Returned/Rejection - No Reply from CIO till now.

Encashment status : not charged till 30th Sept-10 (as per Fardan Exchange)

Query : IF CIO has tried also to charged by DD, they will not be able to charge b'coz the validity of DDis 3 months.

Secondly I have not received any reply from CIO regarding non-payment or any other reason.If the application was rejected at earlier stage I would have been notified for same and I had enough time to rectify.

I have talked to Canada Customer Service and told them that DD is encashed on 6th Aug-10 & have given the details of DHL Tracking No., my name , surname, email id.

Should I wait for their reply or what I should i do.

Hi Saki,

I told them falsely that DD is encashed on 6th Aug-10. As they were not taking my complaint and further details. After giving false date, they took all my details and sent a complaint to CIC and asked me to wait till 0 days.

My concern is should I wait or sent new application with old applications details.
