Hi, I would like to visit canada next year for a 2 week snowboarding holiday (from the UK) but I have a drink drive conviction from 2 years ago. Does this mean that I would have to apply for some sort of visa to be allowed in? If so what is the visa, how much does it cost and how long does it take to sort out?

Many thanks.

No, don't worry about it.  As you are from the UK (citizen I assume) you don't need a visa to visit Canada.  If you were to apply for a visa to work/live temporary or permanently then it would be a different story and you may have to apply for pardon.
