DOUBLE APPLICATION: PLEASE ADVICE

Hi All,

I have applied for PR to canada in Feb 2010 and got approval and have sent my document to my Visa office in Accra Ghana since 2010 september but did not receive any AOR letter from the Visa office Accra Ghana but could see my application online through my Immigration file number and the status has been "PENDING REVIEW". Now l have a job in canada and l am with my Appointment letter. I am in Nigeria, Can I apply for canada work permit since both request/application are from thesame body? Wont my initial application nullify this application? Wont they think that l am jumping the guns?
I need suggestions and Experience from the less this opportunity ellude me.

As far as I am aware, you can apply for WP while FSW is being processed as both applications are independent of each other.....Mandie
