hey everyone ..
I have been advised by some people not to land in TN, some ppl recommended Halifax and others recommended places in Alberta ?! The reason behind that (as per these guys) that everyone is landing in TN hence it will take u long time to get ur documents , PR , Health card , SIN ..etc ??
I have already done my booking to TN (Through EK airlines), so do u advice me to change my landing location ?

2nd thing,
after landing there, I am planing to send my wife and kids back to Dubai (after 3 weeks), and I will stay for around 2 months there trying to find a job and completing my paper work.. My question : Am I gona face a problem because my family is not there, a common one is for example the PR photo, from what i have read that usually people who leaves Canada early are the ones who got called to do the photos again !! does CIC check ppl who landed and traveled within a month time so that they can catch them  Angry

thanks for sharing ur experience Smiley

I personally think that it is much better for all family members to stay in Canada (two, three months, or more if needed) until everyone gets their PR cards.

I agree with slav.
stay there for 3-6 months.
contribute or show your interest that you and your family wants to live in Canada.

you should land in a city where you got your friends and relatives.

1. Shouldn't be the case 'coz the PR cards r handled/produced centrally by CPO-Kingston for everyone/landing wherever.
2. OHIP cards come in by 7days from the 90th day.
3. SIN, u get on-the-spot... the 'card' could take 7-10days, but it doesn't matter as long as u have the SIN.

Where's the problem?

Where's the problem?

regarding your question sir,
the problem is with time .. if it's true that other cities will process ur documents faster then it's better to land somewhere else, but as u described ( and I trust ur words) it seems that it will be the same wether i am in TN or any where else..

additionally, I would like to hear your feedback on what people say that the CIC monitors people who land then leave the county in 3-4 weeks (before getting the PR card) so they can cause them some troubles such as calling them back to do the PR photos ?
i am asking this bcz I need to send my family after 3 weeks back to dubai .. I will however stay in TN for around 2 months .. so what do you think ?

many thanks..

Cannot be blatantly put, but definitely looks like that... most out-of-town cases seem to run into pics probs.
