Hi Guys,

I don't see any movement in my file for past nearly a year and half now. It still shows "Received by VISA office" on eCAS status:

"We received your application for permanent residence on November 16, 2009.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on January 21, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.
We transferred your application to the London England office on January 27, 2010. The London England office may contact you."

Is this normal Embarrassed and is there anyone on this timeline?

When is it expected to show "In Progress"?

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Chouhans

Yes I sent them an email last month and they replied.

"There is nothing I have to do at this point of time, they have received the documents and London office will get in touch."

Hi chouhan,

I suggest you to go for CAIPS Notes.

Please see the below link attached for your reference.

Hello chouhans,
As CoolGuy says u can try CAIPS, however my understanding is that it is useful only after 'In Process' status is reached.
Can u share/update all ur timelines, pl., including 2nd AOR date and any events such as additional family member, change of add. etc.?
Where are u based currently and have u travelled a lot in the past few years?

Rgds,

Thanks Guys.

I have got my second AOR via postal mail on 23rd June and eCAS shows "Received by VISA Office".

I was reading through various blogs about CAIPS which states that CAIPS is useful only after the eCAS shows "In Progress".
