Hello , its just a query. I want to clearify a thing with u guys. My brother applied from Buffalo Office under skilled worker category in sep. 2006 n he got positive decision on his application in Dec.2007, tht s around 15 months to the maximum. As the CIc says tht Buffalo office processes 30% of cases in 17 months at least. My brother scored around  or above 90 points as he s a surgeaon , plus very good ecucational qualifications, ving a very good job ib alberta etc. So can we assume tht the persons who r scoring high points with CIC can be able to get their case processed sooner then the persons ving low points with CIc, as the cic s website itself says , as they ve a huge time gap between the 30%  cases n 80% cases. My brother was also exempted from interview also.any opinion ll be appreciated

Points don't have any effect on processing time.

An interview will add about 6 months to the average processing time.

hi,
these timeline statistics they mention to give an idea to applicant normaly many cases finish between the half of time which they mentioned , high points doesnt mean process will be quick , its depand how many people are in Queue first come first serve basis,

Points do not matter. It is the time required required to your Canadian High Commission to review the papers.
