If my spouse who is my sponsor says in the application about his current job on the sponsorship forms but then gets a new job after the forms have been submitted do they have to inform them they have a new job or does it not matter?
I know you have to tell them if certan circumstances change but is this one of them and would they have to get a letter from their new employer stating hours, pay/salary etc? Will this delay my application?

this is from a letter sent to me about changes in application from my embassy it does not say job

Furthermore, should you need to advise us of a significant change in your application such as a change in your address or family composition (i.e. marriage, birth, death, divorce, separation or adoption of any person included on your application), please do so by either facsimile or mail.

I have the same question. We just got sponsor approval and my husband wants to take on a new job. Is this safe? Anyone?

Yes its safe I am the sponsor for my husband and I changed jobs so its perfectly safe for us to improve our own economic situation I would advise them only if I was a student and now I'm employed if I didn't get sponsorship approval but in my case I dpnt see any reason to inform them so I won't if they need updated info I will provide as requested
