Does my Common Law Partner need this?

Hi,

1.Does my Common Law Partner (whose accompanying me on my study permit) need to write a SOP as well?

2.Also, I want to put some additional documents on his behalf to be on the safe side...So, in addition to his 2 degrees, transcripts, reference letters from 2 professors and one previous employer, CV, bank statement, his previous passport for travel history, his parents' passport copies to show that they have been the residents of UAE for the past 25 years, maybe a copy of his father's business license in UAE... Can you suggest anything more?!
