Sent to buffalo and application transferred to Ottawa.

Application sent: Fall 2011
AOR: Jan 19, 2012
Medical requested: Jan 19, 2012
Medicals done: Jan 24, 2012

Does receiving the medical request letter/email from Ottawa mean that everything is fine with my work experience?

I mean, at this stage, have they processed through my employers reference letters, t4, etc yet??

That would be a bummer if they tell me that my reference letters are inadequate AFTER I've done my medicals. That would suck!

Hi Mike,

This days they are sending the medical request first and collecting all the required documents and i heard that there are few rounds of review happen for each case.

They are reviewing the documents once all the reports are there with them.

Good part is that first round of review is completed.

All the best...

Yeah, receiving medicals does not guarantee anything these days. I received my medicals in late August but according my CAIPS notes I received later that year in December, my file had not been touched by them time they printed the notes. I saw people getting rejected after medicals for various reasons including low IELST scores, inappropriate employer`s letter etc. Pretty unfair.
