Hi,

I got a letter saying that myself and my wife needs to under go Medical exmination tests for work permit.

Does it means that all the documents that I submitted are work permit are fine and further documents are not required?

Very very likely.  They don't request you to spend money to continue the process unless they think everything is going to be positive.
