It depends on the stage of your application. If you are in the final stage and have got your PPR, then you won't have to do it again. But if your case is still in background checks etc, then most likely they will ask you to do it again.

If your medical has expired or nearing expiry and if the case is still pending, you can go ahead and re-do the medical and submit a new one. This could save any further processing time if you wait to get request from the visa office. You might be aware of the fact that the validity of medical is correlated with the validity of PR visa unless the visa office extend the validity.

hey when you do/did your medicals again, did you have to send your copy of the medical form to your visa office? what else did you have to send them? Or did your doctor simply send his portion of the form to the medical office? My husband's medical is "lost" and I think it's best to redo the medical instead of waiting to try and track it down...even though they haven't asked us to redo it...I think it will be a waste of time to try and find the "lost" one...sigh.
