Does Clinical Research manager job, comes under Health care NOC 0311!

ye.. thats a grt idea... may be 2121 would help... not sure though...he basically manage docs for patients enrolments for clinical Trials,data management and Clinical Research..He is in constant touch with docs & manages in  his work!! But dint find this in any of the NOCs ..
My OH is a Mastres in Bio-Technology... He is majorly into Clinical research and lots of Job opps in canada for clinical research( we have done some survey, but unless we stay in Canada , it quite difficult to grab one from the UK) ....  there are jobs in Canada for Clinical research, But I dont find it on NOC.. Quite Strange NOC!!!!

Reading 0311, the first duty "Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the delivery of health care services within a department or establishment" seems to make it clear to me that this NOC is for those involved in managing the delivery of healthcare directly, not clinical research.

I agree with jes_ON that 4165 seems like a better match, it seems to be the only NOC that even mentions clinical research.

Hi All,

I am working professional and my designation is CLLINICAL DATA ANALYST .
Primary job duties are:
1. Manage trial data including all aspects of it
2. communicate Hospitals\sites through online portals (No direct contact) to resolve any discrepancies.
3. Manage Trial Subject data. (This includes managing most critical data captured\gathered during a patient in trial at a perticular hospital\site)
4. My job profile can also be concluded managing Health records. EHS (Electronic health records)

Guys I am going to apply for PR Canada in July 2012
The suggested NOC is NOC 2121 - Biologists and related scientists

please suggest whether i am under relevent NOC

clinical research associate
clinical research program manager
