Hi all,

We applied for FSW1 but unfortunately did not qualify under the new rules. We got the email and money back but I was wondering if the CIC sends the application package back as well? Is there a way for me to email or contact them? The email id given on the website 'FSW-Sydney-Search-Enquiry' does not work and always sends a delivery failure notification. Can someone provide the contact email or phone# to contact CIC and get this information? I stay in US at present.

We submitted original PCCs with our application as the rules were not clear at the time we submitted our app and would like to have them back.

Thanks!

You don't get them back.

You only get them back if the application fails the completeness check, in which case the entire application is returned and the processing fee is not cashed.

Once passed the completeness check you will not get the documents back if the application fails eligibility, or background checks etc.

Also I would recommend attending a CIIP course after you get med requests!

Thanks, PMM and Wayne. I guess I should have just sent the copies of PCCs. CIC was not clear abt the instructions when they first changed the rules. Is there an email id or phone where i can contact them? I do have my application id with me.

I just wanna try and make sure if its possible to get my PCC back as it took me forever to collect them from the countries i have stayed earlier.

Thanks!

You have to sent original PCCs, so copies would not have been accepted anyway.

By all means try but I wouldn't hold your breath about getting documents back.

FSW-Sydney-Search-Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca is the email for CIO - but I understand they also have an online form for queries.

hi can-am,

I really don't know if the PCC's will be any value to you if you decide to reapply again for CA Immigration because your PCC must have been issued not more than 3 months ago when it reaches the VO. But yes, for any other purpose, you may want to get them back, if possible.
