I was an international student under a study-permit which was valid until the end of 2007. I screwed things up when updating my study-permit so that I had half an year of time without a valid visa when I was living in Canada. Now I'm going to apply for skilled worker immigration. Will that history affect my application and how bad it would be? Anyone knows about it? Thanks in advance!

Not completely but it will give a negative impact of your assessment. Wont be a decision changing reason though.

What is done is done so do not worry
