DOES ANYONE KNOW THE MEANING OF L O ,,

hey people ,,   i was  told by  the    embassy  in malaysia  that  my   file has  been  refered  to   LO ,,
  does  LO  mean  local office? ,, and  what   does this  local office  do ,,  anyone  with an idea ?

Visa Offices outside Canada do not have local offices.

LO might be the initials of the Immigration Officer reviewing the file, or a supervisor or manager.

i   was  sent  a  re  medical  form on the  4th  of  march    since  my   first meds   expired in  feb ,,
i did  the  re med ,,  on the 5th ,, and  now  i am waiting ,,i was  told  my   my mp   that  the background isnt  finish yet ,,
the wait  is   telling on me ,,i  wish i  had  an  idea   on how  long it takes   to  finish   background  checks ,,i have only   lived in two  countries  for more than  six months  my  country  of birth and  malaysia  where i currently  live ,,i  was   told about  the  LO  stuff on feb 21st ,, and that   was  b4  i got  the re meds ,,
do you know  what the next  step would be ?
