Hi I am recently working in canada going through positive lmo processing.

But, i want to study more in a college, So i prepared acceptance letter and enough funding.

My question in here is when i applied study permit through online, it will spend 7~14 days of processing time ( from CIC )

then, can i work during the periods? or do i have to just wait until getting study permit?

Another question is that still possilbly got rejected to change status from work permit to study permit although i prepare enough funding and acceptance letter?

Please give me an advise~~ Thank you~ Hope you guys all going well in 2012

1.  Nope, once you receive a study permit, you work permit is invalid.
2.  Of course it is possible to be refused a study permit.
3.  To work with a study permit, you have to attend one of the recognized schools, and after 6 months of passable marks, you can apply for an off campus work permit which allows you to work 20 hours per week during the school year.

If i get refused study permit, though i prepare enough fund and documents, what kinds of reason they usually refuse applicants?
