Documents Needed from the Sponsor

Hi everyone,

Hope someone can give me some ideas here... I have money in my bank which is just enough to pay for my tuition fee, however, I don't have enough for my living expenses but someone (not a relative but a family friend) offered their hospitality; ie. I will be living with them and they will take care of my food and everyday needs... I already have an acceptance letter and I am currently in Toronto, ON right now under a tourist visa. I will be going back to the Philippines next week to apply for the student permit.

What supporting documents should I ask my family friend? Will a bank account be sufficient?

I was assisting a friend in Manila the same way.Application sent in a week ago.I am in
Toronto tel6479665340.I got a notarized letter of support and invitation and I provided a letter
Explaining why I was assisting friend.I also provided proof of income .
I hope it works but instructions are not too detailed.would like to discuss our cases.

What kind of proof of income did you give? Did you have to send a T4? Or a bank statement and a business permit be enough?
