NO u don't need to fill in the pr application, it's done already, we all did that when we applied for this process remember Wink

u could also take a few new photos (maybe 2) with the specifications from appendix B i think (in case they ask)

you do not need to worry about what forms you have to fill up at landing..

The Immigration officer at the airport will give you all advice needed and wont let you in without all legal documentation.

All you need is your passport with visa and other ID if you have...They will take your picture upon landing that will be used for your PR Card..so do not take much stress..

Once you land, it is the officer's responsibility to complete the procedure if any forms need to be filled out.. you just have to follow what they ask you to do..

So relax and take a chill pill...

do they make you really fill in the PR Card Application when you land? It says to list the last employers for the past 5 years...it took us 2 sheets with our PR application...

No, you won't fill in a PR card application on landing.  You will confirm your address and the first card is emailed to you after your landing.  You need your passport with visa and COPR, Goods list (B4) and take a couple immigration-sized photos as a just-in-case.  That's it.

No, the first card is delivered to you in regular mail (rather than email) after landing.

As we are planning to 'land' and return to the UK after 3 weeks, do we have to hand in our GTF list when we 'land' ?

Can we wait until we come back to 'settle' in 1-2 years, get our GTF list stamped then? (and give a copy to our removal company)

If we get our GTF list stamped at landing and only come back to settle in a couple years, our 'final' packing list might have items on that weren't on the original list.

Should we keep the 'initial' landing GTF list 'vague / high level' as to allow us to fit anything we might accumulate between initial landing and settlement date?

Landing List                                 Final List
(Stamped by CBSA)                          (Packing list given to Removal Company + stamped CSBA list)

Used clothes                           4 boxes used clothes
Computers & equipment             3 computers, 4 monitors, 1 media station, plus whatever else we accumulate in the next 2 years

Hope this all makes sense!  Cheesy
