Hi,

I applied for Canada PR through Federal Skilled Worker Category and enclosed all the documents for me and my wife. Today I received back the documents stating these are incomplete for birth certificate. However I have already enclosed the copy of birth certificate from the private hospital I was born at in English. I have following queries:

1. If I resubmit with documents with Embassy birth certificate. Will I have to again in queue or have an advantage of earlier position in queue.

2. Why immigration officer didnt acknowledge for the document I already enclosed. Instead they stated it is incomplete for birth certificate

3. I could not locate file number. I understand from the letter that my application status is as good as not submitted.

Thanks!

There is no harm in trying to contact CIC via email or fax and explain that the doc was already provided - if they accept their mistake - You are in ! if not, it will help you understand what was missing and file the second application with no errors. Good luck.

You need a birth certificate from your municipal birth registration authority.
You start over as it was as good as not submitted.
