In Dubai, u need to go to Dubai courts for notarizing your documents but before that u should go to ministry of foreign affairs to get them attested as or if you acquired them from outside UAE. It is expensive too

It is advised and what i did is notarized it from homeland where it is much easier and costs nominal.
