Hello my collegues in progress, i am really glad to talk to you all today. I pray god will guild all of us through our plans and aspirtion in life. We will all get to canada and live in canada in prosperity and fulfilment. Everybody say its tough for Doctors in canada but our time, I mean this period will be the beginning of prosperity, favour, fulfillment and recorgnition for we foreign doctor. God will continue t open ways for us without stress. I see God making us getting job, I mean our professional job within the year of landing. This looks impossible but this is exactly what God will do for all of us. He will give us wisdom , knowledge and understanding to pass the exams and favour to be loved by the canadian examiners and employers. May God bless us all. Goodnight.

GO TO NOC 3112(OFFICIAL SITE) AND NOTE ITS DUTIES REQUIRED.THEN TRY TO MAKE UR EXPERIENCE LETTER WITH THE MAXIMUM DUTIES WRITTEN ON THE NOC.GET IT STAMPED BY UR HOSPITAL,S HEAD.

 I heard from someone that London office would not start processing till Oct/Nov .do anyone especially seniors have such information ?

Main duties

General practitioners and family physicians perform some or all of the following duties:

    * Examine patients and take their histories, order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures and consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
    * Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
    * Perform and assist in routine surgery
    * Provide emergency care
    * Provide acute care management
    * Inoculate and vaccinate patients
    * Deliver babies and provide pre-natal and post-natal care
    * Advise patients and their families on health care including health promotion, disease, illness and accident prevention
    * Provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues

    * Report births, deaths, and contagious and other diseases to governmental authorities.


Employment requirements

    * A bachelor's degree
      or
      In Quebec, completion of a college program and one year of pre-medicine university studies is usually required.

    * Graduation from an approved medical school
      and
      Two to three years of family medicine residency training are required.

    * Completion of the qualifying examinations of the Medical Council of Canada
      and
      Licensing by the provincial or territorial licensing authority are required.


Additional information

    * General practitioners and family physicians may become specialist physicians with additional training.
