Hi Doctors! We all know that licensing of General Physician / specialist is a lengthy and uncertain process for immigrant physician in Canada.  As alternative profession, I have found the followings. Let us share our views, experience in Canada and future thoughts regarding the following alternatives:
 
1.   Physician assistant
2.   Medical office assistant
3.   Clinical Research Associate
Public health/community health
4.   Diagnostic Sonography,
5.   Occupational health and safety
6.   Anesthesia Assistant
Cardiovascular Perfusion
7.   Diabetes Educator
8.   Respiratory therapist
9.   Sleep Medicine Technology
Clinical Laboratory Quality Manager
Diagnostic Cytology
10.   Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI
11.   Licensed Practical nurse

Please add professions which you feel levelheaded and can be adopted by physician. We should also discuses about the pathways of adopting theses professions.
