Hi guys!

If any of you have sent your passport together with application kit to visa office - did they send it back to undergo medical exam with it (London Visa Office wrote me an e-mail saying that they sent me a letter plus passport, i don't know what to expect, whether medical request or rejection..)

Thanks!

Hi Yukamai,

With what happened to me.  Upon submitting my passport and application, I was assured that when my passport came back it will have a visa stamped.  Months past, passport came back without visa and a letter of explanation as to why I was declined.  That was my first application.

Second application - same thing - submit passport and application.  But this time, I received a letter instructing me to go ahead with medicals.  Medicals done and results submitted to Visa Office.  Passport with visa received and a letter explaining procedure for WP on POE.

This happened 4 or 5 years ago and not in London Visa Office.  Don't know if they still have the same procedure though.

I certainly hope the letter will be an instruction for you to proceed to medical.

Goodluck.   Smiley

Thanks for reply and goodluck wishes, plussy!

So as I could get - at the time of your second application the only thing they sent you at first was medical request, but they kept passport to themselves? Then what did you bring to DMP as your picture ID?

Hi Yukamai,

Yes.  The medical request letter and a government-issued identification for verification.

Goodluck again.   Smiley
