I don't think that it was that long ago that you didn't even have to show your passport, but now do you have to have a Visa to visit, too?

It depends on your citizenship, if you are not a green card holder.

I think a green card holder can visit without a visa.

Just checking to see if I understand this right...If you want to visit Cananda you have to have a passport and a visa?

Leigh - what is your status?  Are you a U.S. Citizen?  Are you a U.S. green card holder?  Are you just visiting the U.S.?

I think the new law went into effect recently. Us Citizens traveling to Canada or Mexico need to have a Passport now.
