Do years of experience count towards education?
«
on:

My husband has 2 three years college degrees in Tourism and Human Resources.
But for the last 12 years he has been working in the hospitality field as a restaurant assistant manager.
I only have a high school diploma and I am currently working towards my associates degree in computer technology. I just started by the way.
But I have been working as business manager and financial manager since 2004 for many solo doctors as well as medical groups and surgery centers.
Would my years of experience count towards education level?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you

I don't think so.
BTW there are many diploma mill universities in the USA and UK, they could recognise anything you have (experience, education)and award you a degree which has 'zero' value in the job market. They are not accredited programs and damn cheap, but don't fall prey to such universities. They can award you PhD also with very little work and very cheap. If you see their fascinating websites, anybody could fall prey.
hope it helps
