Hey guys,

I am not sure? Do we need a US VISA to do the landing for CEC? Or everything is just done at Canadian side and there is no need for visa?

Please let me know any of you who have done landing as I am not sure abou this one.

Hi

As per other threads, US VISA is not required, they say, as soon as we reach the US , we need to tell the BOrder Officer that , we came for completing the Landing process for Canada PR. Then they will provide us a a white paper, and send us back to Canada gate happily..

Sounds good to me! Is that info available on web btw? I couldn't find it anywhere so that's why i thought ask those who has experienced this you know!

Confirmed. That's what I did, too. I drove cross the border and told the US officer that I were there for Canadian immigration landing and they knew what I talked about.

Ok, so what i have read in trackitt forums, apparently they have closed the U-TURN for some security reasons! I really somone to comment on this please. Someone who recently did landing at FORT-ERIE peace bridge or Niagara Area. Apparently the post says that they close it in July 2011.

So, If anyone can share recent expererience that would be great!
