Do we pay fee to Buffalo or Mississauga?

Hello - we are just about to pay the processing fee - the sponsorship application, principal application and RPRF.  My wife is Canadian citizen and will sponsor me from outside (we are both in the USA).  We will send the enitre application kit to Mississauaga for sponsorship approval and the PR application will be processed in Buffalo, NY.  Now, do we pay this fee to Mississauga (which can be paid on-line) or do we pay to Buffalo?  I am reading different things (or I simply don't understand...).

Thanks PMM - you have been of great help to us during this process!  The information on the CIC web and the 800 numbers are good, but limited.  We really appreciate your (an others) quick responses.

We have paid the fees and mailed the applications - now it's just a matter of waiting.  Based on the current processing time it might be a while until I have my next question...
