You can check out one thread by our friend Kanamen on temporary health insurance choices before you get your health card. Not sure if you can get one before landing though!! but as Qorax advised better to have a travel insurance from home country if it is of concern and its also cheaper doing it from home country....

When are you flying? Which Airlines you gonna fly with? Any idea about Air India? All the best

I am flying on 23rd of July by Air India. It is the cheapest flight Cheesy. Will let you know the experience after I land. Will land in Toronto and then go to Kingston.

All the best mate. we will probably follow you soon (On GOD's will by 31 July) . Have some consideration of AIR India and it will be great to know your feed back on that.

Hey Vishesh..

You should have the travel guard policy because in Canada medical cover starts only after 90 days... If you need any help regarding the same please let me know... Since I belong to the same industry... Smiley Smiley will definitely fetch you the right cover with competitive rates...
