You can send notarized copies, don't worry.

yes you are right. have the doc:
  • copied
  • notarized
  • if not in English, translated (mind requirement for translation to include info (duly authorized, sworn, ...)
  • included with VO package

hope I did not miss anything

here a sample of Translator:-


I -----------------(lawyer name)-------advocate high court and advocates and legal consultant office #------------Address---------, do hereby solemnly stte and affirm on oath on this 9th day May 2011 That

I have done translations of the following documents:

1.-------------------(like National Identity Card)
2.------------------ (any Certificate if in urdu or hindi)


I certify and confirm that the content of the above mentioned translations are a true translation and representation of the content of the original documents.


Deponent (mean lawyer name, signature and attested stamp of lawyer it will be send original)

Different Visa offices and Different countries have different set of rules.

Please consult your "Visa Office Specific Check List" to see th details. Translated docs are also to be Notarized.

Affidavit from a translator is not compulsory. In my case translated documents were stamped with official seal giving them official validity.
