Thanks everybody of this forum as I got the visa recently from CIC Singapore.

I had applied in April,2006 under FSW. Kindly note apart from FSW application, also I was got PNP nomination but did not apply to Singapore for visa under PNP and was waiting to get the medical rqst under FSW since my application was almost processed under this category.

But while CIC Singapore had received my nomination letter from Saskatchewan province and then sent me the medical under PNP/SINP category. Then later I wrote to CIC through case specific enquiry describing my intention to process the file under FSW but CIC reply/comment not received at that time.

Now I am confused whether my application has been processed under Federal Skilled Worker or not. But in Confirmation of  Permanent Residence (COPR) form my relative's Ontario/Toronto address has been mentioned and DEST code shown 6710, which I am not aware.

Could you pls anybody can advise on above and any idea of DEST code 6710, whether it in Ontario/Toronto code.

Your reply is much appreciated.

The COPR Dest. No. For Toronto-Ontario is : 3812

If it was FSW, itd be written in row# 19 as : SW1

Yes, it's approved under PNP.

And remember, u have to "land" in your province, else the BSO @ POE might put a spoke. U can always move anywhere in Canada later - once u have the PR card with u.

Thanks once again for your reply.
Could you pls explain meaning of BSO  @  POE.

Happy to hear that I can move/sattle somewhere of Canada upon getting pr card from Saskatchewan province. Is there any problem in income tex filing in future.

Kindly advise plz.

Border Security Officer @ Port of Entry.
1. BSOs r CBSA Officers.
2. POE could be an Airport or a Border Post (while entering by road).
